Tracy Lane Tresner's Obituary
CHARLESTON, IL - Tracy Lane Tresner, age 58 of Charleston, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, April 23, 2013. A Memorial Graveside Service celebrating her life will begin at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at Roselawn Cemetery with Pastor Jerry Sweeney officiating. It is requested that in lieu of flowers, thoughtful donations in her honor be made to the Coles County Genealogical Society, P.O. Box 592, Charleston, IL 61920. Arrangements have been entrusted to Adams Funeral Chapel in Charleston. Tracy was born on February 28, 1955 in Coles County, Illinois, the daughter of the late Sydney and Mary Dean (Pearcy) Tresner. She is survived by her sister Trudy Edwards of Gainesville, FL; two nephews, Kerry (Nancy) Edwards of Sterling Heights, MI and Kent (Julie) Edwards of Homosassa, FL; three nieces, Randy Bergadine and Marcy Hoopaugh, both of Gainesville and Laurie (Wayne) Hoopaugh of Micanopy, FL; 15 grand nieces and nephews and 4 great grand nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Robert Ralph Edwards. Tracy was a life-long resident of Charleston and worked for many years as a dispatcher for the Charleston Police Department and then later for 911 of Coles County. She was actively involved in the genealogy organizations for both Coles and Edgar Counties, providing a great service to its members.
