Todd A. White's Obituary
CHARLESTON, IL - Todd Aaron White, age 42 of Charleston, entered his Heavenly Home on Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Lawrence County Hospital in Lawrenceville, Illinois. A public visitation and gathering of family and friends will be held Sunday, July 19, 2015 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. at the First Church of God located at 1225 Montgomery Drive in Charleston. A private family memorial service with Pastor Tom Farris officiating will be held to honor and celebrate his life. It is requested that in lieu of flowers, thoughtful donations in his honor be made to his family. Gifts may be mailed to Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Dr., Charleston, IL 61920. Todd was born on October 8, 1972 in Charleston, a son of Harry and Vicki (Drake) White. He married Britney Littleton on April 3, 2006. He is survived by his wife Britney and their children, Emma (age 12), Macy (age 9) and Grady (age 6). He is also survived by his parents, Harry and Vicki White of Charleston, two sisters, Lori (Russ) Finley of Carbondale, IL, Kindra (Shawn) Hartke of Effingham, IL and Seth (Joanna) White of Charleston; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and their families. He was preceded in death by his grandparents. Todd was a graduate of Heritage Christian Academy and attended Salisbury Church. He was currently employed by Estes Express Lines Trucking Company as a driver. As a youth, Todd was a star baseball player, playing on the city youth league, and liked riding motorcycles. He enjoyed building, tinkering and working on things and woodworking projects. He loved the outdoors which suited his interests in landscaping, gardening, hunting, fishing and camping. As a devoted father, Todd was often in the company of his children, as they enjoyed these outdoor hobbies together. He adored his children and was committed to being a good father and role model. Todd's entire family was extremely important to him and he blessed their lives in many ways.
