I am broken hearted. I didn't know of her passing until recently. She was my 1st grade teacher in the late 90's. Will always remember her kindness, she told me to save my tears for when I really need them, and that always stuck with me because I came to school crying one day. She had a momma bear mindset for every student in her classroom. She made homemade rootbeer, helped teach us to read, and put red and gold stars on our math table sheets when we got all the answers right. Little did I know how well all those memories stuck with me 25+ years later. What a loss, she was an amazing person and she was also my mother's teacher in the 70's. Rest in peace to a beautiful person inside and out. I wish I got to see her again before she went to heaven. Thank you for the impact on many of us, Ms Snyder. 💕
