Gifts may be left on the memorial table at the visitation or service, or mailed to Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Drive, Charleston, IL 61920. Susan was born July 21, 1947 in Charleston and grew up in Mattoon. She was the daughter of Lawrence D. and Mary K. (Beavers) Paxton and has now been reunited with her parents in heaven. Susan's greatest accomplishment on Earth was raising eight beautiful children in God's love who have blessed her with 23 precious grandkids, thus far: A. Donald and Barbra D. King of Sidney with Donovan, Carter, Joy, Esther, Marielle, Paula, Tovah and Selah; Jason S. and Patricia L. King of Tolono with Daniel, Natalie, Rachael and Andrew; Sarah J. and Richard L. Kroth of Texas, with Ruth and Grace; Susanna B. and Curtis J. Bressner of White Heath, Illinois with Lyndi and Savanna; Jolena M. and Steven L. Martin of Charleston with Josie, Steven and Mollie; Robert F. King and fiancé, Kristina A. Turner of Peoria with Vanessa; Joseph W. and Danielle M. King of Charleston with Tyler, Jillian and Logan; and Kenneth G. King of Charleston. Susan is proudest of her relationship she worked on all 65 years of her life diving into the truth of her Savior, Jesus Christ. She would encourage all to seek the true meaning of the Bible and build upon God's love to be able to share it with others. She is missed by all who knew her, for she had a gift to love those who came her way and make them feel so very special to be one of God's children. She welcomed each and every individual into her family as Christ does with all who seek Him.
