Rosa L. Miller's Obituary
CHARLESTON, IL - Rosa Leah Miller, age 54 of Charleston, went home to be with her Lord on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at her home. Memorial Services honoring and celebrating her life will be held at 2:00 p.m. today (Saturday, August 6, 2011) at the First Baptist Church, 2800 University Drive in Charleston with Dr. Gene Scholes officiating. Visitation will be held today from 1:00 until Service time at the church. It is requested that memorial gifts in her honor be made to her children, Tyson Cesaretti or Tara DeLong and may be mailed in care of Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Drive, Charleston, IL 61920. Rosa was born in Charleston on March 13, 1957 to Edward L. and Dolores (Potter) Ferguson. She married Charles L. Miller in Branson, Missouri and he preceded her in death on December 25, 2009. She is survived by her parents, Ed and Dolores Ferguson of Charleston; two children; a son, Tyson M. Cesaretti and wife Trisha and a daughter, Tara M. DeLong and husband Jeremy, all of Muskegon, Michigan; three grandchildren, Tyler S. DeLong, Logan M. DeLong and Addison M. DeLong, all of Muskegon; two sisters, Cheryl Henning and husband James of Grand Rivers, Kentucky and Marci Ferguson of Charleston; and several nieces and great-nieces and great-nephews. Rosa was baptized as a young teen and grew up in the First Baptist Church in Charleston. She had a love for her Lord and family. She was extremely social and enjoyed being in the presence of others or communicating with her Facebook friends. She had a beautiful smile that was endearing and would light up a room. She was blessed with a talent for oil painting as well as writing poetry. She will be dearly missed by her friends and family and also by her special dog ""Teddy"".
