Pamela was born November 5, 1957 in Providence, KY to the late Hershel and Delores (Fisher) Carey. Pam leaves four children to cherish her memory; her oldest, Eric Carey and wife Nicole of Decatur, IL, and her younger three from her 30 plus year marriage to Terry Nailing; Brian Nailing and wife Jessica, Robert Nailing and Ashley Nailing, all of Charleston; 9 grandchildren, Ania and Alyse Carey, Tyreeona, Laneshá, Deshaun and Zariah Nailing, Ray Ruiz Viramontes, Lucinda Cook and Destiny Mickell; three brothers, Robert and Leslie Fisher and Wayne Carey; two sisters, Violet Hall and Valerie Carey; and numerous nieces and nephews and their families. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Allen Issac. Pam graduated high school in Providence, KY and for the past 13 years has been employed in the pressroom at R.R. Donnelley and Sons in Mattoon. Pam was an avid BINGO player and was always looking for a deal or that special item at local garage and yard sales. But for Pam, life was really all about faith and family. Her children and grandchildren were always her number one priority and she worked extremely hard to provide for their needs. Her family and those in her hometown of Providence remained near and dear to her heart and she loved returning there for visits. Pam possessed a beautiful spirit filled with kindness, humility and love for others. She enjoyed laughing and keeping things positive while sharing a smile with everyone. She was a woman of faith whose Bible was well worn and used her gift of keeping peace to create harmony in the lives of those she cared for. Pam will be dearly missed, and the abundant memories filled with love and admiration, will forever be treasured by her family and friends. Click to view Pam's memorial video.
