The bond she had with her daughters was strong, even with the miles between them. She was always proud of her daughters and they knew that her home was always open for them to return. Her love was unconditional. She was a dedicated grandmother and great-grandmother, always putting her grandchildren first and foremost in her life. Madonna was also described as an eloquent lady, always approachable and ready to lend an ear, and compassionate to all.
