Judith Anne Livingston's Obituary
CHARLESTON, IL - Judith Anne Livingston, age 73 of Charleston and formerly of Ashmore, IL, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, January 9, 2017 while at Sarah Bush Lincoln Health Center. Funeral Services honoring and celebrating her life will begin at noon on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Adams Funeral Chapel in Charleston with Pastor David Colvin officiating. Visitation will be held on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow in the Ashmore Cemetery in Ashmore, IL. It is requested that in lieu of flowers, thoughtful donations in her honor be made to the Ashmore Baptist Church. Gifts may be left on the memorial table at the visitation or services, or mailed in care of Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Dr., Charleston, IL 61920. Judy was born January 18, 1943 in Decatur, IL, a daughter of the late Paul Norman and Winifred (Dudley) Crawford. She married Bobby Livingston on October 29, 1961 in Charleston and they have shared 55 years of marriage. In addition to Bobby she is survived by a son, Douglas Livingston and wife Laurie of rural Charleston; two grandsons, Baily Livingston and Garrett Livingston; a brother, Donald Crawford of Chicago; her sister, Martha Jane Crim of Apopka, FL and three nephews and their families, Randall, Charles and Kirk Crim. In addition to her parents, Judy was predeceased by an infant daughter, Lisa Anne Livingston and a son, Robert Livingston. Judy was a graduate of Charleston High School and devoted her life to her church, her family and her friends. She has been a woman of deep and abiding faith and a long time member of the Ashmore Baptist Church, giving of her time and talents whenever and wherever needed. If you were fortunate enough to know her as a friend, she had a way of making you feel special and appreciated. As a wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker - she was the best! Taking care of a family that she loved dearly was her priority and she succeeded in creating a wonderful warm and loving home for them. Her grandsons were the apples of her eye and her love and devotion for them was apparent. Judy was a delightful lady and she will truly be missed. Those that love her are blessed with many comforting memories of wonderful and special times shared. Click to view Family Memorial Video.
