Born June 17, 1977, in Mattoon, IL, he was the son of Robert "Bob" Hill and Patricia "Pat" (Herman) Hill. On June 27, 1997, he married his high school sweetheart, Shannon Cutright, in Charleston, IL; a love story that lasted nearly 28 years.
Jeremy is survived by his wife, Shannon Hill of Charleston; their two children, Mattison (Calvin) Pickup of Peyton, CO, and Zachary (Julie Jones) Hill of Charleston; his parents, Bob and Pat Hill of Charleston; four siblings: Jim (Mandy) Hill of Charleston, Debbie (Paul) Brewer of Ashmore, Chris (Penny) Hill of Trowbridge, IL, and Jeff (Tina) Hill of Mattoon; and several nieces and nephews.
A graduate of Charleston High School, Jeremy went on to build a lasting career at ITW-Hi-Cone in Charleston, where he became a respected supervisor and loyal colleague.
Outside of work, Jeremy found joy in the outdoors—hunting, archery, and paintball were among his favorite pastimes. He especially loved hosting family cookouts, cheering on his children in sports, and coaching them along the way. Christmas was his favorite time of year, and nothing made him happier than time spent on the beach with Shannon, listening to the ocean. A devoted St. Louis Cardinals and Indianapolis Colts fan, Jeremy’s greatest passion was his family. He lived his life with quiet strength, unwavering generosity, and a heart full of love.
Visitation will be held Friday, June 6, 2025, from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Dr., Charleston, IL. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 p.m.
