Jacqueline A. Lawson's Obituary
Jacqueline "Jackie" Anna Lawson, age 81, of Charleston, IL passed away peacefully and went to her heavenly home on Saturday morning, January 6, 2024 at Hilltop Skilled Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Charleston, IL. She was born September 15, 1942 in Reading, England the daughter of Jack S. Brown and Lily (Bygrave) Brown. She was married to Victor Kerr, Sr.; he preceded her in death. She later married David Lawson on October 12, 1985 in Hamilton, VA; he passed away on August 4, 1997.
Survivors include her children, David Kerr, Mary Ward, and Michelle Barth; and brothers, Alan Brown of Massachusetts and Michael Brown of New Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands and son, Victor Kerr, Jr.
Mrs. Kerr was a published author of one book; The Desert Shall Bloom as a Rose. She had a passion for gardening, writing, and aviation.
