Clint D. Brown's Obituary
MARSHALL, IL - Clint David Brown, age 43 of Marshall and formerly of Charleston, passed away on Wednesday, December 30, 2015 at Union Hospital in Terre Haute, IN. Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life to be held on Saturday, January 9, 2016 from 1:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Charleston Elks located at 720 Sixth Street in Charleston. Food and beverages will be available and memorial gifts in his honor may be made to Chris Brown to assist with final expenses. Gifts may be left during the celebration or may be mailed to Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Dr., Charleston, IL 61920. Clint was born January 5, 1972 in Charleston, IL to David and Donna (McNary) Brown. Clint is survived by his children, Reagan Brown of Effingham, IL and Lance Brown of Marshall, IL; a stepson, Ethan Ballinger of Effingham; his mother, Donna Owen of Charleston; his father, David Brown of TN; a brother, Chris Brown and wife Jill of Charleston; an uncle, Raymond McNary of Charleston; 3 nieces and 2 nephews and their families; and close friends, Harold Woods and Ed and Paula Hart. He was preceded in death by his grandparents and his stepfather, Dale Owen. Clint, known as ""Cliffy"" to many, was a graduate of Charleston High School and for the past 5 years has been employed with North American Lighting in Paris, IL. He was a member of AA having successfully completing the program and was an avid Green Bay Packers fan.
