He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother-in-law, Steve Easterday, and his nephew, Gregg Pfeiffer.
Chris worked at Vesuvius for ten years, RR Donnelley for 21 years, and JJ Collins earlier in his career.
A lifelong sports enthusiast, Chris found great joy in cheering on the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Bears. He had a passion for golf and especially loved attending his grandchildren’s sporting events, always their biggest fan on the sidelines.
Chris was known for his signature style—often seen in a baseball cap, with his shirts and shoes always perfectly coordinated. Chris will be remembered for his steady presence, easy smile, and unwavering love for his family. His legacy lives on in the lives he touched, and he will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
