Chelsea I. Simpson's Obituary
CHARLESTON, IL - Chelsea Irene Simpson, age 27 of Charleston, went to heaven on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Carle Foundation Hospital in Urbana, IL. A celebration of her life will be held from 3:00 - 5: 00 p.m. on Sunday, April 9, 2017 at Salisbury Church, 2350 Madison Ave. in Charleston. It is requested that thoughtful donations in her honor be made to Adams Funeral Chapel to assist with final expenses. Gifts may be mailed to Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Dr., Charleston, IL 61920. Chelsea was born September 20, 1989 in Springfield, Illinois, the daughter of Pete Simpson and Patricia Hurst. She is survived by her mother Patty Simpson, brother, Ryan Millage (Jessi), and grandmother, Sandra Hurst all of Charleston, IL. She is also survived by her uncles, David Jenkins and Leonard Carter (Martha); aunts, Charlene (Shelly) Devall, Mary Epperson (Brenden), Lana Beasley (Brian), Linda Shellabarger and her great aunt Linda Morgan, nephews and nieces, Sawyer Millage, Cecila Stewart, Ty Ty Haynes and Pete Haynes. Her special friends include Heidi Stewart, Christina Purcell, and Kerianna Roberts. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Oscar and Vera Simpson, dad, Pete Simpson and sister Katilynn Simpson. Chelsea was a loving person with a kind and generous heart. She was a wonderful caregiver to family members and friends. Chelsea loved children and especially being an aunt. She shared so much love and joy with her nephews and nieces, Sawyer, Cecilia, Ty Ty and Pete. She enjoyed cooking and was said to be an excellent cook because her dad Pete taught her how. Among other things she enjoyed singing and mushroom hunting. She had a beautiful soul and will be missed dearly.
