Carolyn was a graduate of Martinsville High School and was employed with Carol’s Cleaners prior to her employment with Nancy’s Lettering. She was a longtime member of the Women of the Moose Charleston Chapter 1175. As an avid bowler for 30 plus years, Carolyn earned the honor of being a member of the Women’s International Bowling Congress Hall of Fame and was a recipient of the Merit Award sponsored by the United States Bowling Congress. Carolyn was also an excellent seamstress and her crocheted doll clothes were sites to behold with their intricate stitching, beading, and attention to every detail. She and Charlie Bob enjoyed wintering in Lake Havasu, Arizona with their snowbird friends and there are many fond memories of times spent at their trailer on Lake Charleston during the summer months.
