Tobin Johnson

CHARLESTON, IL – In the early morning hours of Wednesday, June 17, 2020, Tobin Leland David Johnson was lovingly welcomed by parents, Jerrod and Hannah (Doedtman) Johnson.  Shortly thereafter he went to rest in the comforting arms of Jesus where he resides eternally with great-grandfathers, Frank Doedtman and Jerry Johnson.  In addition to his parents, Jerrod and Hannah and sister Rosalee, Tobin was loved by grandparents, David and Vanessa Doedtman of Shumway, Illinois and Leland Eric and Paula Johnson of Charleston; great-grandparents, John and Sharon Beldon of Strasburg, Illinois, Florence Doedtman of Effingham, Illinois, Paul and Michele Buerster of Charleston, Joe and Nora Tuley of Greenup, Illinois and Sandy Johnson of Charleston; three aunts, Grace, Audra and Sarah Doedtman, all of Shumway; an uncle Joshua Johnson of Charleston; and other extended family.  

A graveside service will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at Roselawn Cemetery in Charleston with Pastor Michael Stewart officiating.  Memorial gifts may be made to Jerrod and Hannah and may be mailed in care of Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Drive, Charleston, Illinois  61920.
