Larry was born August 16, 1938 in Charleston, Illinois, the youngest child and son of Roy Reed and Mabel Chloe (Fasig) Endsley. He married the love of his life Janice McNary on July 31, 1960 in Kemp, Illinois. He is survived by his wife; three children, Jeff (Kay) Endsley, Lori (Steve) Armstrong, and Jim (Debbie) Endsley; nine grandchildren, Kelci (Scott) Easterday, Kourtni (Austin) Smith, Kollin Armstrong, Megan (Evan) Stoltz, Dr. Ryan (Mattie) Endsley, Bailey (Haley) Vance, Madison Endsley (significant other, Creighton Simmonds), Allison (Caleb) Bertrand, and Chase (Gretchen) Staggs; and three great grandchildren, Hudson Campbell and Gwin and Gatlin Easterday. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Donnie, Robert, and Jack Endsley; and five sisters, Norma Logue, Doris Newell, Bonnie Babbs, Janet Scribner, and Barbara Replogle.

Larry graduated in the Class of 1956 from Charleston High School.  Before retiring after 24 years as the Maintenance Director for City of Charleston, he worked for IGA and A & P Grocery.  He was a faithful member of the East Harrison Street Church of God in Charleston.  Larry loved watching his favorite sports teams, the St. Louis Cardinals and the Fighting Illini.  Larry enjoyed looking at old cars and showing his own ’49 Chevy Coupe at local car shows; but his true passion and greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren.
