Ethan James Miller Obituary

Ethan James Miller, affectionately known as “E”, age 29, of Charleston, IL passed away at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 in his home. He was born November 17, 1994 in Champaign, IL, the son of Jeffery William and Kelly (Pendergast) Miller.

Ethan is survived by his loving parents, Jeff and Kelly Miller of Charleston, IL; twin brother, Noah William Miller of Charleston, IL; sister, McClain Eugenia Rose Miller (Josh Barrett) of Calera, OK; brother, Isaac Jefferson Miller of Charleston, IL; paternal grandparents, Jim and Rose Miller of Charleston, IL; significant other, Emily Logsdon of Charleston, IL; niece, Shiloh Miller of Charleston, IL; nephews, Cooper Miller of Charleston, IL and Jaxon Barrett of Calera, OK; uncles, Jim Miller (Deanne) of Carbondale, IL and Mike Pendergast (girlfriend Berta) of Charleston, IL; aunts, Angie Nichols (Rick) of Charleston, IL and Althea Meyerscough (Dave) of Charleston, IL; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Bill and Eugenia Pendergast. His grandfather, “Pa” Jim Miller passed on March 7, 2024.

Ethan graduated from Charleston High School in 2013. He had a passion for sports, particularly basketball, and had a talent for bringing joy to those around him with his sense of humor and huge heart. He cherished moments spent with his friends and family, especially his niece and nephews. Ethan was the life of every party.

Ethan was a member for St. Borromeo Catholic Church in Charleston, IL. For the past 8 years, he worked diligently as a project manager Olmstead Brothers Insulation.

Memorial mass will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, 2024 at St. Borromeo Catholic Church with Father Bradon Maher officiating. A joint visitation for Ethan and his Grandpa Jim will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 13, 2024 at Adams Funeral Chapel, 2330 Shawnee Dr., Charleston, IL. Inurnment will follow memorial mass in Roselawn Cemetery in Charleston, IL.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church, 921 Madison Ave., Charleston, IL 61920 or Trojan Booster Club c/o Charleston High School, 1615 Lincoln Ave., Charleston, IL 61920
