Bridgett was born September 23, 1977 in Lafayette Township, rural Mattoon, Illinois, the daughter of Everett and Beverly (Melton) Duncan. She was a graduate of Casey-Westfield High School, the former manager of the Charleston Casey’s General Store, and a member of the Westfield Baptist Church. Bridgett always looked forward to spending time with her family who together enjoyed activities such as fishing and hunting, swimming and camping. She loved the outdoors and was always on the hunt for another Indian Bead to add to her collection. Bridgett was fond of animals and had two special canine friends during her life, Princess and Izzy. She never outgrew her love for coloring and found it to be relaxing as did a pampering trip to the nail salon which she always enjoyed. Bridgett had a big heart and was always willing to help others. She loved her children and they have fond memories of the weekends and the wonderful pancake breakfast she would make for them.
Bridgett will be dearly missed by her children, Austin Cutright, Whitney Hupp and Kelsey Hupp, all of Westfield; her grandchildren, Samuel, Sophia and Ryker Cutright; her parents, Everett “Junior” Duncan of Westfield and Bev McCammon of Casey, Illinois; her sister Angel (Nick) Santangelo of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina; her nephew Gavin Santangelo; and extended family of aunts, uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and a sister, Stephanie Duncan.
